CHRISTMAS WREATH & YOGA WORKSHOP
SUNDAY 16 DECEMBER
9.30am - 1.00pm
COTTON TREE, SUNSHINE COAST
Enjoy a rejuvenating morning yoga class, followed by a delicious morning tea. Then after your body is blissed out and your tummy is loved up, you will create a beautiful Christmas wreath. All materials provided.
The workshop begins with a yoga class. Time to stop, relax, take a breath and reconnect.
The yoga class will be gentle enough for any level of ability and include asanas (postures) for stretching, releasing and strengthening; relaxation and pranayama (breath technique).
DELICIOUS MORNING TEA
After the class we’ll share a delish morning tea of all sorts of joyful things like handmade cakes, tropical fruit, cheese & crackers and of course there will be chocolate!
With your body relaxed and your tummy happy, you will learn how to create your very own Christmas wreath, using professional floristry techniques, with all materials provided.
You will be given a vine wreath as the base, and then a selection of interesting, textural foliages, nuts, pods and cones to play with. You will create a wreath that will be an expression of your individual creativity.
Instead of discarding it after Christmas, it will dry into an eye-catching forever wreath that you can hang on your wall.
The act of creating is a form of meditation. You will find yourself coming out of your head and into your body. Your thoughts will drift away, and you will enjoy time in the present moment!
And there is something very soul enriching about sitting in a circle of creativity with likeminded women. You will leave the workshop with a beautiful wreath and a full heart.
